Are the installation files different for Talend Open Source and Enterprise editions?

Hi,

Are the installation files different for Talend Open Source and Enterprise editions?

Can I include my talend enterprise license to the TOS which is open source?

I have already TOS open source edition installed in my system. Now can I include my enterprise license in that studio? or there is different installable which comes seperately for Talend Enterprise edition?

Please advise

Thanks,

Kiran

Hi Kiran,

The recommendation would be to download the studio from the link specified in the mail from Talend and use the license file provided with the mail. It will make sure that you are using the Studio for the right version.

yes, They are different and packaged different, the license is needed for specific enterprise integration stuff like TAC which is not available in open source... from a component perspective they are packaged different too...

There's no installer, its java, just unzip and start the executable.
