Can I Install Talend DI Community Free Edition on a Server?

Hello Everyone!

I am new to Talend and I was wondering if I can, and should, install Talend on a Server? so that it is faster and we can take backups of all created jobs. Please advise!

Hello,

Do you mean you want to launch talend open studio remotely? Actually, you can export  your job created in local studio to your server by right-clicking the job in the tree-view explorer and then select " Build Job". A batch file is created which can be executed on the server.

I would like to use the open studio remotely as I would like to take backups unless there is a better way.
