Error copying file from packed archive <path_of_dist> to /tmp/licenseReader.jar

Hello, I am trying to install Talend Data Fabric using the Talend Installer.

After I select the license file from the installation wizard and press forward, the installation stalls at "Validating the license file" and I get the error mentioned above: "Error copying file from packed archive <path_of_dist> to /tmp/licenseReader.jar".

I am using CentOS 7 and I am running the file as root so it is not a permissions issue.

Any idea what may be the case?

No unfortunately I do not have anything more specific than the error message mentioned above.

I also tried tracking the bitrock_installer.log file while the installer is running, but it also stalls after executing the first script.

Figured it out in the end.

There was probably some kind of issue with the dist file(had not been downloaded completely or sth) cause when I downloaded a fresh copy and run the installer again, it worked. Only in text mode tho 😕
