Error running DI-20180116_1512-V6.5.1 on Windows

Downloaded DI and DQ Studio. Set up Java, path etc.

DQ runs fine. DI does not.

What are the key differences between DQ and DI that mean one will run but the other won't? I am assuming if DQ runs Java etc. is all configured correctly.

Running 64 Bit Windows (Windows 7 SP1)

Previously installation Eclipse (not that it matters)

Verified path and removed all references to other Java installs. Still getting an error

Hello,

For v6 of Talend products JDKv1.8 is required instead of JRE. If that requirement is met, ensure JDK bin is included in your PATH environment variable and is being reached.

Can you type java -version in cmd to see if your java environment is set correctly?

I checked my Java version and it was correct.

I did add the JDK explicitly to my system path, but still received the same error.

I did notice that the location where I extracted studio was nested a few levels deep. I moved the location up a few levels and shortened the folder names, and that seemed to fix the issue. I suspect that the folder path was too long.
