Hello All
We have just installed Talend Integration Suite 4.2 - Team edition.
We are trying to create a new project and can not.
I can launch and login to the Talend Administrator page via my browser.
We then try to create a new project - and this is where we come unstuck
It keeps telling me that I need a valid URL - check the log file for more information.
So how do we create a valid URL?
Where is this log file it says to check?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated
Michael
Hi Michael
Not sure you have had a look at the use doc:
TalendAdministrationCenter_xxx_UG_42a_EN.pdf chapter 2.2 Manage Projects.
The url is the repository url on SVN server, looks like
http://host name or ip address/svn/repository name
The log4j parameter in configuration page is used to set the path of TAC log file. (see my screenshot)
Best regards

ok That seems to have worked, thank you. (had to run with port 81, rather than 80 cause the stupid #@$@$@#@#$ server kept saying port 80 was in use but all good).
I can now create a project in the TAC.
I have created the project, and added a design user to the project
Now on to my next challange
On my workstation I am trying to connect into this project
I have entered in the connection details for Remote and it says OK
But SVN branch drop down is empty, and I can't select this project.
Help again....
Hi
Are you using the default user admin@company.com to connect to the remote repository? What's the role of this user?
- Have you grant role 'designer' or more privilege to the user? see my screenshot.
- Have you gave privilege to user to access project in project authorizations page?
Best regards
Shong
