Installation issue on Mac OS

Hi,

I am facing the following issues which one of them resolved on my own. 

1. Could not open TOS_DI-macosx-cocoa and had to run 

xattr -c TOS_DI-macosx-cocoa.app 

2. Now after that I am getting the error To open “Talend Open Studio for Data Integration” you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime.

I am running MacOs Sierra version 10.12.5 

surely I dont need version 6 now do I ?

After extracting the zip file with Keka it worked for me 

Issue:

Description

Launching TOS_DI-macosx-cocoa.app on Mac OS Sierra result in the following error:

"The TOS_DI-macosx-cocoa executable launcher was unable to locate its companion library"

I tried all this getting following issues

my system details

MacOS - MacOs High Sierra 10.13.4

Java - 10.0.1

Talend - v7.0

I get the following log issue.

I have a similar issue on High Sierra 10.13.3 with Talend Big Data v.6.5.1 using Java 8.

Any one managed to run this version of Talend on High Sierra?

I am getting a Java exit code =13 error.

Hello,

Ensure proper version of JDK is installed. We are not yet targeting Java 10.

Please use JDK 1.8 instead.

Have you tried to use JDK 1.8.0_151 from Oracle's site to see if it works?

After further investigation I found the following error in the log files:

Hi,

I had to go back to Sierra OS for it to work. Talend OS Big Data did not work on High Sierra.
