Hi

In this KB "Requiring a JDK installation to build jobs starting from version 6.0",

"Talend Studio requires a JDK installation instead of just a JRE to build jobs". 

Does it apply to other components in TAC, such as Command Line, Job Server, TAC admin?

you can build with JRE also as long as JVM is there with maven repo with required library, you can build it.
