Mac Installation Issues for Talend Open Studio (OS Sierra 10.12.6 w/ Java 8 & 12 SDK VMs)

Having issues trying to launch Talend Open Studio. I have been trying to search the forums for a resolution but I cant seem to find one that matches this issue. 

Attached is the incredibly long log file that shows the errors. Excuse my ignorance but I cannot seem to pinpoint what the issue is. 

I have tried creating a JAVA_HOME environment variable (can't seem to get that to work through the Terminal) and I tried editing the info.plist to add:

<string>-vm</string>
<string>/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_151.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java</string>

but I haven't had any luck. 

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

From log 1554563708272, you are using java 12 in your machine. We are not yet targeting Java 12. Please ensure proper version of JDK is installed.
