Migrating/Upgrade from Talend V6.5 to V8.0

I am tasked to research on the possibility of migrating a full suite Talend project from

  1. Talend Administration Centre (TAC) v6.5
  2. Talend Job Server v6.5
  3. Talend Studio v6.5
  4. Talend Repository v6.5
  5. Existing talend jobs

To V8.0.x

I understand that there are some concerns and difficulties I will face. I wish to have some insights on the process of doing so.

The upgrade process seem very convoluted and complex unlike most other platform.

Here is the Talend migration and upgrade guide, it documents the detailed steps for each applications. In order to ensure your migration and upgrade is completed successfully, I would suggest you to raise ticket on Talend Support Portal if you have any issues.
