Not able to checkin Files in GIT

I have created a repository in github , configured the same in TMC , Configured TMC in Talend Studio.

Created a sample job and tried to push it in the main branch of the repository i created but it says 'Nothing to be pushed to Git server. The current repository is uptodate'. Any suggestions

Probabaly, use .gitignore ......and put the name of the specific file and extension in it to get ignored.
