Step by step installation of Talend ETL using Installer on Linux

I'm new to Talend ETL and trying to install Talend BD/DI 5.5.1 on a Linux box and It says successful but when I try to launch studio it is not working. Not sure how to link ETL Server with Jasper Studio. The Installation guide is not helping me much.
Appreciate your help in detail, step by step.

Hi,
What's the problem you are facing? Is there any error log  message which is located in <Talend Studio installation path>/workspace/.metadata/.log?
