For production, we have TOS 7.1.1 running on a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM server.
Everything worked fine for about a year. Recently, I found the JDK was gone. (no clue why)
I installed Zulu OpenJDK:
openjdk version "1.8.0_302"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (Zulu 8.56.0.21-CA-win64) (build 1.8.0_302-b08)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (Zulu 8.56.0.21-CA-win64) (build 25.302-b08, mixed mode)
TOS worked fine but then the next day, any time I open TOS and attempt to edit an existing job Task Manager says the TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe is not responding and just freezes nothing happens after several minutes of waiting. I end up having to end task it.
I reinstalled TOS 7.1.1 to a different folder, imported the jobs, and now I am getting the same not responding issue.
Any ideas what is causing this issue? Do I need to try an older version of the JDK?
What is the newest version of JDK supported by TOS 7.1.1?
Hello,
Here is online documentation for talend open studio V 7.1.1
TalendHelpCenter: Compatible Java Environments
Is there any error message in studio log? Which is located in <Talend Studio installation path>/workspace/.metadata/.log
Best regards
