TOS-DI 7.0.1 with Mac OS X Mojave
Hi!
So, I upgraded to Mojave this morning. I was trying to use a tMap component in my Designer and after I entered the editor for the tMap, I clicked "OK" and TOS crashed to desktop.
Is this a known bug or am I just running into some type of config issue?
Thanks!
Adam

Hello @here,
Talend Open Studio 7.1.1 release is now available. There is a fix in 7.1.1 that was integrated at the very last minute for the Mojave OS issue. With talend open studio, you could upgrade to 7.1.1 to see if it works.
When you are using Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.1, please modify the Talend-Studio-macosx-cocoa.ini and add a line with: -Dos.version=10.14.
And for subscription solution, there will be patches issued for 7.0 and 6.5. Feel free to let us know if it is OK with you.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you so much for your understanding and all support over the years.
Bets regards
Sabrina

Hello Adam,
Can you please upload the log message? Which is located in <Talend Studio installation path>/workspace/.metadata/.log.
More information will be helpful for us to address your issue.
Best regards

I'd tried installing JDK 1.8.0_151 to see if that would fix things, as it did for High Sierra. It did not help.

I also tried swapping out the XUL Framework version referenced in the TOS_DI ini.
-Dorg.eclipse.swt.browser.XULRunnerPath=/Library/Frameworks/XUL.framework/Versions/Current/
Alternate versions of XUL I tried were 1.9.0.17, and 1.9.2.28.
The functionality called by the 'Apply' and 'OK' buttons from an open tMap are the cause. The original poster and I have very similar machines.

Sabrina,
I've also tried downloading and running the 7.1.1M3 TOS_DI release. I get the exact same issue. I created a job, opened a tMap, clicked "OK", and crashed to desktop.
This was a fresh download using all defaults. This is everything from the .log:
