Talend 7 has UI issues under Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS

There are issues with Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS in the Talend Studio with check-boxes and radio buttons - see the attached image.

The radio buttons and the check-boxes does not show the check-marks. Only a small color change to the border indicates the state of the control.

It turns out, it has something to do with the underlying Eclipse platform 4.10 - it is to old.

Does somebody has a solution?

So far, Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS is not list in the supported platforms table officially in talend.

From this online documentation about: TalendHelpCenter: Compatible Operating Systems, the recommended version is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

Our developers will look into your jira issue TESB-31811 and will keep you up to date about it.

Hello ,

Tihis is because yubuntu 20.04 uses the new aidwata theme, if you want a checksign inside check box, you might need to set a new theme:

1- install gnome-tweaks

2- Go to appearance, And by selection greybird for Application, you 'll be able to see checksign on checkboxes
