Talend Installation hangs at license validation

Hi,

 

While installing the Talend Data integration 7.0.1 in linux box, it is hanging at the license validation.

I have waited for a long, but it doesnt progress at all. Can anyone help and let me know the reason for this. And how to fix this.

Hi, 

 

No, I did not get any error in the log. The last line in the bitrock_installer.log was the Validating the license file... 

 

As I informed, I am able to do successful installation using the text mode option,so I don't have this issue anymore 0683p000009MACn.png

Hello,

Are you running talend installer?

For v6 of Talend products JDKv1.8 is required instead of JRE. If that requirement is met, ensure JDK bin is included in your PATH environment variable and is being reached.

Hi,

 

Thanks Sabrina for the quick response. Yes I am running talend installer.

I checked the mentioned jdk setup and that looks fine.

However I have noticed that this issue is not consistent, the GUI installation mode often stuck at the license validation. So I tried the text mode installation and it went through the validation check real quick.

I am not sure why it is taking so much time for the GUI mode.
