Hi All,
Request your help on the Talend open studio 8.0 for Data Integration(without license).
I installed Talend OS 8.0- and imported the project from Talend 6.3, but when I am opening the jobs the designer view is blank(black background). The views such as component, palette and other views shows (properties not available) , run job view is disabled. I tried with changing workspace , tried fresh install few times but issue remains same.
From the error log below are two errors that I got:
Unable to create class 'org.eclipse.ui.internal.e4compatibility.CompatibilityEditor' from bundle '360'
An error occured while automatically activating bundle org.eclipse.jdt.debug(274).
I have attached error screenshots and designer and views screenshot.
Hello,
What's Operating System and JDK version are you using?
Your installation of talend open studio V8 is done completely? Installing .zip file from talend official website?
Best regards
Sabrina

JDK - Zulu 11
The instller we downloaded from Talend official website . Installer is - TOS_DI-20211109_1610-V8.0.1-windows-installer.

Hello,
Does the solution by replacing Zulu OpenJDK 11 by oracle JDK 11 works fine with your case?
Best regards
Sabrina
Hello ,
Studio works fine with OracleJDK. Do you know why the issue was with Zulu ? Any idea?
Hello,
I will raise this issue to our R&D team and feel free to let us know if there is any specific requirement for your to use Zulu OpenJDK 11.
Best regards
Sabrina
Hello,
It is the organization directive to use Zulu 11 and slowly move away from Oracle JDK, though we have not yet moved to Zulu 11 100% ,but in near future that will be the case. Thanks.
