Talend Open studio for Big data 7.3 vulnerability

We want to install Talend Open studio for Big Data v7.3 tool to some of our systems.

Before installing this we want to make sure that it is vulnerable and malware-free tool and there is not security concern in installing this version.

Can you please help us with security compliances for Talend Open studio for Big Data v7.3?

So far, I’m afraid we do not supply patches for the Open Studio releases and we only provide patches for our subscription products. However, you can find mitigation instructions for existing products.

Thank you for your response.

We have gone through the security advisories provided by you. We can see possible vulnerability and mitigation for Talend tools like Talend Administration Center, Data Catalog, ESB, MDM but we have not seen any specific vulnerability related to Talend Open studio for Big data 7.3.1 version. So can we concider this tool and version vulnerabile and Malware free?

Also if we go for latest version of Talend Open Studio for Big data V8.0.1, all latest security patches are proivided in this vesion?

Hello,

Talend Open studio for Big data 7.3.1 version is a free solution with studio only. It doesn't have server part (TAC, Job Server and Log server...)

The latest version of Talend Open Studio 8 version was released prior to the vulnerability being revealed.
