Talend Studio 8 Feature Manager not working

Hello,

I'm new to Talend and recently got a subscription for Talend 8. I'm trying to use Feature Manager to install snowflake components. However, when I open Feature Manager, I cannot see any available features and I see the following error message: "Something went wrong while loading features. Make sure the URLs are set correctly in the update settings page of the Studio preferences. "

I checked the Base and Update URL under Studio preferences and they are the same as other users in my Org who can use Feature Manager.

Base URL: https://update.talend.com/Studio/8/base

Update URL: https://update.talend.com/Studio/8/updates/latest

Any thoughts on how to get Feature Manager to work? Appreciate any help you can provide in resolving this issue.

Can you access those URLs by clicking on them? If so (you should be able to), can you let us know which JDK you are running? If you cannot access those URLs from a browser, you may have some network issue or maybe a proxy issue.

Thank you for your response. I'm able to access the URLs. I see the index for Studio 8 base and updates when I click on them. I'm running jdk version 11.

@Richard Hall - Any further thoughts on this? Could this be a jdk issue? I'm able to develop and run jobs using excel files for input / output. However, my use-case requires me to establish a connection with snowflake DB.

Sorry @Aniket Gadkari I overlooked the notification of your response. OK, this suggests that your network is fine (no proxies, etc) and your JDK is OK. You could try and reinstallation to see whether your install has been corrupted or similar. Other than that, the only thing I can suggest is that you raise a support case. This is not behaviour that I have seen and since it is not the usual causes for issues like this (or does not appear to be) it would be very difficult to help you without seeing your issue first hand.

Can you point Support to this question and ask them to add a note of the fix if this is something that may affect others in the future?

Sure, will do. Can you please send me the link for Talend support.
