Unable to install external modules

Hi,
I have installed Talend Open Studio DI  6.1.1.20151214_1327  on a workstation with  very limited internet access due to security restrictions .
When I navigate to Windows -> Show View -> Talend -> Modules, I can see a huge list of required modules which are having 'Not installed' status. Due to this I am unable to proceed with Job designing as Talend would prompt for missing modules.
When I click on 'Download external Modules' icon, I can see the list of modules which are not installed, but the 'Download and Install all modules available' button is disabled.
Is this because of limited internet connectivity ? Currently access is enabled for Talend & TalendForge websites. Do we need to allow access for other URLs as well?
My questions are :
1. How to to install all these modules automatically without individually installing the jar files. (manually installing these may not be feasible)
2. What are the URLs required by Talend to download these 'required' modules.(apart from Talend websites)
3. Specific reason as to why  'Download and Install all modules available'  button is disabled.
Thanks

Due to license restrictions, Talend may not be able to ship certain external modules within Talend Studio.
Please refer to documents about: TalendHelpCenter:Identify required external modules and TalendHelpCenter:Install external modules.

Hi Akshay,
my inputs for your questions:
1. If your network is not restricted these installations automatically happens.
2. These external modules can be from talend exchange, Maven or different libraries provided by different vendors to support their component and hence they can be in different location.
3. Reason for button disabled is your organization security settings that do not allow anything to download inside firewall.
as an alternate you can take approval of all jars and feed them individually to the input button on the same page.
Hope it is helpful.

Hi Akshay
Are you any closer to a solution to this? I'm also having problems in my dev environment but actually, all my target deployment environments will have no internet access at all so I need to understand the installation process.
So far I am a bit frustrated since even when I am connected via proxies and try to install plugins, there are numerous failures and errors. It's strange that the product has base functionality that doesn't work without the addition of such plugins.

Hi DL001,
Are you behind proxy? Could you please indicate what's the build version you are using? What's the error message you are getting?
Best regards

Hi,
If you are working behind a network proxy, make sure you have correctly set up your proxy before you can download and install external modules in your Studio. To access the proxy settings, select Window > Preferences from the menu to open the  window, then expand the General node and click Network Connections.
Best regards

The proxy is configured automatically and verified to be correct

Hi,

It looks like something wrong with your auto installation.

Is your network restricted? Have you already checked your virus protection?

Best regards

Sabrina
