Update - what about talend.project (many xmlid's)

Hi community,

i got the Task to do the talend update similar to our ERP-System update.

I stuck on many files, because i don't unterstand why These Things are changed, but i didn't got any documentation from our ERP-seller.

Especially the project-file "talends.project"​. It has so many changes, but all just for the "xmlid".

Is it normal to Change These IDs with updates?

It is normal for ​the talend.project xml be updated with the latest time stamp, latest studio version, and the fingerprint from the studio.

 

This file if it ever gets corrupted you can always back it up and just delete it and the studio could recreate it. Or you can try to revert the changes the changes to get the studio up if it is preventing you to login to the project.
