Hello,
How many jobs do you have? Talend Cloud is backward compatible with the Studio version. So even if Studio is on old version, the jobs will work.
If you haven’t developed a lot of jobs, it is welcome to upgrade Studio and Remote engines.
You need to duplicate (copy) your git repo to a new repo. You should then login to new copied git repo using the Studio. When you do this, the jobs will automatically be upgraded.
The repo needs to be copied, because if there are any issues, you can always fall back to the old repo/Studio. Once the git repo is upgraded, it cannot be reverted back to old version.
In Management Console create a new project with the same name as the old project but point to the new Git repo, that way when you connect to this new Project and could see the jobs inside it. Also remove Project collaboration from the old Project to avoid confusion as to which project to select while launching the Studio as both the projects have the same name.
Best regards
Sabrina
