The max parallel session count cannot be configured.
Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows allows for a maximum of five parallel sessions from one user. If the maximum is reached, the sixth connection will fail with:
You cannot access Qlik Sense because you have no access pass. Too many sessions active in parallel

Could Qlik give some guidance on what a user can do to avoid this situation, what counts as a parallel session and what to do once the issue happens?
The old KB article used to have these details but it seems to have been retired and redirected to this community post, which is missing these details.

			Sonja_BauernfeiHello @Ken_T .
I think you mean this article: How to count sessions in Qlik Sense
It's the only one we've had which included examples on when a new session is opened. I've linked it (along with a few other relevant ones) to this one.
Kind Regards,
Sonja

		Dear All,
Has this feature request been added to Qlik's New versions then ? @Alan_Slaughter , @Sonja_Bauernfeind
Or do we have to ability to make changes to this default count ?
Regards,
Rohan.

			Sonja_BauernfeiHello @Rohan
This was not introduced. The limit is still maintained. I would recommend logging your interest in this in our ideation forum, as we do not have a customer-driven idea active at the moment for this.
All the best,
Sonja

BoB_Qlik_SupporWhats the advantage of having parallel sessions. this can be a major security threat as user will never understand that their account is compromised.

			Sonja_BauernfeiHello @BoB_Qlik_Support
Parallel sessions enable users to carry their work between devices, such as their desktop or laptop and a mobile device, as well as to have multiple documents open at the same time.
If you are looking do disable the ability for users to create sessions from multiple devices, you can configure your Virtual Proxy and enable Extended security environment. See Extended security environment.
All the best,
Sonja
