App Metadata Analyzer returns error 403 (forbidden) if Virtual Proxy Anonymous access mode is set to "Allow anonymous"

The App Metadata Analyzer returns the below error during the reload if Virtual Proxy Anonymous access mode is set to "Allow anonymous" in QMC:

The following error occurred:
HTTP protocol error 403 (Forbidden):

The server refused to fulfill the request.

Environment

• Qlik Sense all versions

Cause

Virtual Proxy Anonymous access mode is set to "Allow anonymous" in QMC and anonymous access hasn't been properly set up.

Resolution

• Change the Virtual Proxy Anonymous access mode in QMC to "No anonymous user".

• Follow our guidelines for anonymous access configuration, as described in this article.
