How to configure Network Loadbalancer (NLB) with Qlik Sense Enterprise

Qlik Sense supports network load balancers (NLB) for distributing user sessions over multiple Qlik Sense Proxies. 

A successful load balancing setup requires that the NLB complies with Qlik Sense basic requirements for communication;

  • Open ports
  • Support for WebSocket protocol
  • Sticky/persistent sessions
  • Session timeout 

Qlik Sense does deem specific networks load balancers supported or not supported, but requires that load balancers behavior comply with the Qlik Sense traffic requirements.

NLBs are not provided by Qlik, therefore NLB specific configuration is not provided by Qlik Support.
