The Repliweb eraser tool is using the incorect domain account. In effect, the account may be locked out if the wrong password was associated with the account.

How do I update the account being used with Repliweb Eraser tool?

Environment

  • Repliweb R1  version 6.xx

Resolution

There could be a case, where the user uses the domain account to log in to the console and creates a scheduler job.

This would have stored the domain account at that time.

Solution 1

Delete the scheduler and recreate it.

Solution 2

  1. Manually delete the backup file.
  2. Go into the backup and change any available setting (example, change the minute)
  3. Save the new setting for the backup, so that the backup job run with your new credentials

Solution 3

  1. R1 caches the password for the clean up job.
  2. You can use the password change utility within the R1 Console / Manage /Center / Tools / Change password.
  3. The cleanup jobs are under the ~\rds\scheduler\active\actve_eraser\ you can see the report.log on the failure of the job and edges as well.
