Select data to load preview date format

You might have noticed that there could be a difference in the date formats display for specific date values in the data preview window when selecting data to load using a Qlik connector between Qlik Sense on premise version and Qlik Sense SAAS.

For example on premise you might see the date format 'YYYY-MM-DD', but in the SAAS version yo have 'MM/DD/YYYY'.

The reason for this behavior might be that the date format in the preview window depends on the local date setting in Windows, which can be changed manually according to your preference, for example here you can see that the date formats 'YYYY-MM-DD' correspond to the local Windows settings:

In Qlik Sense SAAS the behavior is similar, however in there the date formats depend on the local date settings of the server where your tenant is stored (as a SAAS user you do not have the possibility to change that format) and not on your local Windows settings, for example you can see here that in spite of the local Windows date format 'YYYY-MM-DD' you see in the data preview format 'MM/DD/YYYY':
