Hi all

I know Qlik Sense is all the rage, however for those still working with QlikView here is a template I have dabbled with over the years that you might find useful.  The aim is to:

  • Give a consistent look and feel to your corporate dashboards
  • Get developers off to a quick start.
  • Provide a clean and flexible web type tab navigation (6 x main tabs  & 6 x sub tabs)
  • Provide a selection of preformatted objects
  • Have no complicated code to manage the template - just some variables in a spreadsheet for tabs & colours, etc

Dynamic tabs

Current Selections, Filters & Details are Show/Hide buttons to leave the dashboard area as clean as possible

A small bar on the filter button indicates if your data has filters applied

If you show the tabs you will see a few tabs for holding some pre-formatted objects

And I stuck the switch icons that are bundle loaded within the script into the spreadsheet just in case

Please feel free to use as required.  Template.qvw & Variables_Template attached

Regards

John
