Qlik Sense Mobile App using Citrix Application Delivery Controllers - "Session expired. Tap here to log back in to the Qlik Sense server."

I just enabled an Authentication link from the QMC for our Qlik Sense Portal for accessing the Mobile App. It generated the error I wrote in the subject and will not let me get all the way into the application and actually do anything. "Session expired. Tap here to log back in to the Qlik Sense server." It is an endless loop. Any advice. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the app on my phone (iPhone). No go.

Hi @jbchurchill ,

this might happen if you are going via a reverse proxy.
Is that the case?

Yes - I'm told that our Qlik server is "running behind a proxy". Is there any way to get through this or will we be unable to proceed?

We have customers that are able to use it, but it might depend on the architecture.
Do you know which kind of reverse proxy software you are using (like Apache?)? And which authentication method?
We can check if have some documentation, or maybe some other customer has been able to use the software with a similar setup.
Otherwise, Qlik's professional services can assist.

Thanks - I've asked your question. I am being told (and asked) the following:

We are using Web Application Firewalls that perform reverse proxy for sites behind it.  Using Citrix Application Delivery Controllers.  Auth is via the SecureAuth that then redirects clients to url with a token that will pass thru the WAF to the backend server for processing based upon RBAC if passed.  We have other groups using the same configurations.   So if I read correctly the mobile app isn't allowing you to connect and is redirecting back to the login with expiring something.  Do we know any special requirements to allow the mobile app to work?  Thanks,

I can't find any internal or external documentation about using QSM with Citrix Application Delivery Controllers.
Hopefully, someone in the community has a similar setup and can give you some hints. I have edited this discussion's title to make the setup more visible.
If no one can help here, then I'd suggest involving Qlik's professional services via your account manager.
