DataTransfer without on-Premise Installation - Qlik Community

Hi,

We have got an old Firebird Database and want to move to QlikCloud.

With Direct-Access, there is no connector for ODBC, but in Data Transfer I have seen, there is a possibility to establish a connection via ODBC.

So is it possible to run Data Transfer without on-prem installation of QlikSense just to collect the raw Data?

or is there any other workaround?

There is no option I am aware of without some sort of install. Data Transfer as you said, or the data gateway direct access should both work, but they require an install.

Hi @ManuelRühl ,

you need on prem installation of Qlik Data Transfer, but you dont need on prem installation of Qlik Sense.
