Hi,
I'm new to alternate states my problem is i have a listbox with a default state and a listbox with state 1 and two listboxes below with some codes(picture1). Now i want whenever I select the default state that it automaticly selects like in the default code the "SGDX" in the State 1 Code (picture2).
I know that i could disable the Alternate state state 1 in the properties of the listbox but I would like to keep it there for other reason. Better would be a solution with an expression like set analysis and I'm kind of confused how to solve it.
For example something like this:
IF "Default state" selected, select the same "default code" for the "state1 code" too.
Thanks in advance!
You can use Field Event Trigger (OnSelect) within Triggers tab under document properties.
Hi Mr_Crash,
You can make use of this in QlikSense for implementing alternate states:

Thanks,
Sangram.
why do I always miss this information that this might be trying to do in Qlik Sense.
The initial screen shots suggest that the solution is in QlikView, not Qlik Sense 🙂 I think it's just a wrong choice of a forum...
That's true

Hey Sunny_T,
thanks for your response but its not working cause it just copies the selections from the default state to the alternate state and not only the desire selection below.
Thanks i will check it out!
Yeah you're right! But QlikSense and QlikView are similar in the syntax and logic. I will post it next time in QlikView. I just didnt found the QlikView forum part.
