Analytics Platform/Developer Platform

I came across these two products on the Qlik press release page: http://snip.ly/Owxu?__1NrT1_=1NrT1#http://www.qlik.com/us/company/press-room/press-releases/2015/en/...

Does anyone have any more information on either of these? I would love to know how we can leverage those products and add them to our current platform if they provide what I think they do.

The Qlik Analytics platform is scheduled for release in June, so we cannot give complete details yet on how the licensing will work, but functionally you can assume that it will have all of the APIs available from Qlik Sense to build Mashups/Websites that embed Qlik Sense content (including visualization objects among other components), except that you will not be able to reuse the entire standard client, or be able to view published apps directly from the hub. You will only be able to reuse components or modules of the client to build a customized client.

However all APIs including Mashups, connections to the platform using Engine API or .Net SDK, among others, will be possible. More details on the APIs are available here http://help.qlik.com/sense/en-us/developer/ and more details about the Qlik Analytics Platform will be forthcoming.

It sounds like it will be a platform focused on streamlining the building of websites with Qlik Sense components -- I look forward to that.

Also looking forward to the analytics platform piece as our clients continue asking for that.

The Qlik Analytics Platform has been launched but there is still very little documentation around it. Does anybody know where the framework is available to be downloaded and installed and where can we find more documentation on how to use it? Thanks.

I would be interested in an update on this as well.

There is information here:

http://help.qlik.com/sense/2.0/en-us/developer/#../Subsystems/Platform/Content/Architecture/qlik-ana...

There is no separate download for Qlik Analytics Platform. It is the same install as Qlik Sense Enterprise. The main difference is the licensing based on CPU cores. After you input the license, the standard client or hub is no longer available but you will be able to publish apps using the QMC and you will be able to build solutions or clients using the mashup APIs with Workbench or other web development tools. You can also use tools like Visual studio & the .Net SDK to build clients or you can use the Engine API.

Hi Ingemar,

does the .NET SDK work with the Qlik Analytics Platform?

I found some examples but they connect to the hub, but the hub is disabled by the Platform license.

https://help.qlik.com/sense/2.0/en-US/developer/#../Subsystems/NetSDKAPI/Content/HowTos/Net-Sdk-How-...

So how can I use the Platform, in NET environment?

Thank You and Best Regards

Yes, the .Net SDK will work with a Qlik Sense server with the Qlik Analytics Platform license.

You setup the connection using https as in the examples in the documentation.

Just make sure to add the computer running the .Net SDK program to the Websocket origin white list in the QMC proxy settings in the advanced properties section.

HI there.

i am in the mid of setting up QAP.

first question - which license should i apply to the Qlik Sense Server? Qlik Sense Enterprise Prod Site SP5 orQlik Analytics Platform External Edition?

2nd Question - I want to create a Windows Server - with 1 gb RAM and 1 CPU core. Can i setup the QAP in this environment?
