Area chart With date Collumns

Hello, I need to Show on chart daily Sales and on Specific dates To Have vertical line or column that says what event Cased data Fluctuation. Is there any way to do this? or any extensions? If you have advice or  any solutions i would be very grateful.Below is the concept what I need.

Add your Date as dimension and your measure in measure to get that view...
You would have a grid chart which would automatically create columns and rows once you do that, no need of extension.
If you could post a sample data?
