Automation Testing for Qliksense Dashboard Objects(Unit Testing)

Hello Team,

     This is vinod i am getting confused first time i am listening my organisation needs automation testing tool for qliksense developed dash boards could you guys please help me out in this.

I tried tools like QLIKSENSE SCALABILITY TOOLS it is for only performance testing but my organisation needs another testing tool which can have unit test and each individual object test (like in dashboard if barchart is there,then that tool should test barchart first next other objects(charts) individually.

Hi Vinod,

You mean data validation of chart numbers or the functionality of the chart?

That's an odd requirement since the validation should be done for each level (see if the extraction is returning the desired data, transformation is doing ok as well) and once that is done, the final visualization would be partially validated as well, since the data was tested.

Hi Vinod,

If you want to automate test about the functionality of different dashboards you can use Selenium or After-Work.js.

Is there any tool by now that can validate data underlying visualization against source data of QlikSense.

This would help to ensure that all our Qlik dashboards which are in production are quality checked after each month\week data refresh
