Can I create a Scatter Plot with continuous time on x-axis as Dimension (instead of Measure)?

Can I create a Scatter Plot with continuous time on x-axis?

Because the x axis of a scatter plot has to be a Measure, how can I get it to be the timestamp_field dimension? It only allows me to use this dimension as a Measure by doing, for example, Sum of timestamp_field, which just gives me wierd date times that I do not want.
