Can i use variables to name column headers in tables?

Hi Guys,

Can i use variables to name column headers in tables? like you can in QV.

I've read up that this basic common task is unavailable in QS, very disappointing that a basic common task is not available in QS.

Absolutely yes... put the variable in the label space: $(Variable)

That's the first thing i tried and i've tried it again, it doesn't work.  I'm using a straight table.

In QV, yes, you'd assume it will in QS, but no.

I might use text boxs above as column labels.

Everything where you see an "fx" image you can change. Otherwise no.

Time to create your own table extension...

i tried the same, but had to give up this approach as Qlik sense allows the table to re positioned based on the device we are viewing the app.

i suggest use multiple tables with layout conditions
