Cannot find ODBC Connections

Hi everybody,

I have a problem, i'm using QlikSense Server and i need to create a ODBC Connection, but when i click on "New Connection" and then on ODBC, any connections is showed.

Do someone know what the broblem could be?

Have you tried defining them as system datasources?

Hi Alessandro,

I see that they're set up as user DSN. Is the user the Sense service account?

If it's a different user, then it won't have access to them. You're better off setting them up as System DSN connections.

Have you configured the path correctly on the server while setting up the dsn for ODBC

Hi All

I had the same issue.

Turned out that I was due to my second node that did not have the ODBC connection set up.

I added an odbc connection to my second (dev) node and was able to use and connec without any issues.

Problem solved by turning off the anti-virus.
