Hi,
I put pictures in the good libray. I change the picture of the App in Sense Desktop. I see the good picture after validation but I cannot save this modification. If I try to do another modification to have access to the save button, the picture is removed.
I've done some tests today and it works only on Apps created directly in Sense but it doesn't work for converted Apps from QVW to Sense.
Any idea ?
Regards,
Stéphane.
did not understand the nature of the problem. I have done just the same.
converted application, added to his image. save, close.
reopened, changed the image, save the changes.
Hi Stephane - I cannot reproduce this problem and neither can one of our community members (as seen in the YouTube video - thanks Alexander Korsikov !) then I am thinking it may be a permission issue on the original directory where the.qvw file resides.
Can you provide a screen capture (video) of the steps you are performing so we can witness this?
We are happy to help. but it seems this issues is related to your machine and something that is not specific to the product (as of what we see so far).
Thanks
Mike
Hi Michael, Alexander,
I used mys desktop to convert qvw to wvf and then I moved qvf to the Sense App folder. I try to directly convert a qvw from Sense App folder and nothing change.
Stephane.
Strange. As I see it, the same is not possible to remove the image from the application.
Can you attach the image you are selecting in the video?
Mike
The file attached. It's the file Assosciated.png in default folder
Qlik\Sense\Content\Default\Images
Stephane.
Hi Stephane - the picture did not attach to the thread - which leads me to believe there is a problem with the image.
Try this one.
Mike
Hi,
I've done this test but the "Save" button is not active. I can change the picture but not save.
Stephane.
OK - I will have one of our PM's look at this.
Mike
Hi there,
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems.
The save button in Desktop is disabled when there hasn't been any property changes in the app. But a Thumbnail change is a property change, and the Save button will/should be enabled.
We have tested it this and we cannot replicate the issue as described or shown in the video. There must be something in your event sequence that your are doing that we can reproduce. If you can submit your web traffic log capturing the events as you step through it we can use them to debug the problem.
Best regards,
Bodil Wicknertz
