Changing the server name

Good afternoon. Can you tell me how to change the name of the server that users will use? Now the name with which the server was added to the domain is being used, but I want to use an alias qlik.domain.com

Hello @kovalev-dg

You can follow those steps and add the qlik domain.com entry in the host white list from the virtual proxy, to allow requests from that name

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-to-configure-the-WebSocket-origin-allow-list-and-best/ta...

Then you can adjust your DNS server with a CNAME entry to point from  qlik domain.com to currentname.domain.com

You can also change the hostname, but that is a more complex process https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/How-to-Change-the-Qlik-Sense-server-hostname/ta-p/1711364
