Comparing dates in one bar graph

Hello,

On excel in column G I have "Forecasted & Actual Start Date" and column P I have "Baseline Start Month".

Both then in rows below have values such as "01/01/2016" and "01/02/2016" etc.

On QlikSense I would like to have one bar chart that compares - in one bar the amount forecasted to start in a month, compared to another bar which shows how many were baselined to start.

I have tried many different ways, but still do not come out with the correct results. Can someone please explain how?

Hi Kieron,

Can you add some screen shots of your excel file?

How are specified the amounts you want to compare?

Philippe

Will be really helpful if you can attach a sample QVF.

Its possible, but a little awkward without some transformation. I would link both dates to a calendar, using the logic in this blog post: Canonical Date

Hi Kieron,

Canonical Dates is what you need to use:

Along wit the document which Jonathan suggested, check this out as well:https://community.qlikview.com/thread/136801
