Connect a Qlik Sense visualization directly to a live data source

Is it possible to create a Qlik visualization (extension) which is connected directly to a live data source like a message broker (e.g. Kafka)? For the most analytics tasks it is enough to reload my data every 15min. So I can use the in memory data load mechanism. But for single charts I want to visualize a live status or I want to have a live monitor. Is it possible to feed in the data directly to the chart?

Yes I know DIRECT DISCOVERY. But the documentation says: "It is not designed to be a real-time solution.".

I am looking for a solution where I can feed data directly to chart. Without any transformation or indexing or something like that.

I suggest you to give a try because in some use case it could be useful.
