Convert QVW to QVF, it turn into empty dashboard

Hello, I would like to test convert QVW to QVF so I fallow the step on https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/2.1/Subsystems/Hub/Content/LoadData/create-app-from-document.htm After I fallow, Qlik Sense shows the application in the same name as QVW file but both QVW and QVF are empty. Any Ideas? I need it to clarify for the user who use QlikView before and they would like to change into Qlik Sense. But they don't want to recreate all the dashboards again.

I use QVW file from https://demos.qlik.com/qlikview/MyLifeInData to test convert QVW to QVF

hi 

for almost 2 year there is a qlikview converter in qlik sense dev-hub 

it'll convert the whole model including the variables , visualizations , expressions etc.

you'll need to recreate the dashboards , as the technology is different
