Copying Sheet Objects

Hi Friends,

Is there any option to copy all objects at once from one application to other application or from one sheet to other sheet.

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

Are you trying like this?

Ctrl + A (All Objects from one Sheet), and paste (Ctrl V or Paste Sheet Objects) it on Other Application.

Hi Janardhan, We can do that by Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C. But same objects should be there in destination sheet. Otherwise 'Unavailble' error message will be shown.

Hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Hi,

The copy/paste does what you need to copy objects from a qvw to another.

However for the data, you either need to have the same reload script in the 2nd qvw, or you can read the 1st qvw as binary.

You do this from the edit script window (ctrl+e), in the bottom click on "Qlikview file" and select your source file. You'll have something like this at the beginning of your script:

Binary document1.qvw;

And after reloading your 2nd qvw, you'll have same data as in your 1st qvw.

Hope this helps.

Hi all !

Sometimes, you need to Show all objects (Ctrl+Caps+S) before you select All (Ctrl+A), then paste them (Ctrl+V).

I had the problem in a Qlikview file, and managed to solve it by this way.

Hope same as everyone ... ^^
