Copying qlikview QVD to Qliksense

HI All,

We have QLikview QVD which business want to use them for Qlik sense. How can we make them available in qliksense and how we can build the Task same like in Qlikview in qliksense for daily refresh.

Please guide.

Hi @Rajeshhyd ,

Yes, you can create a folder connection from a different server.

for that check, if you can ping the Qlikview server from the Qliksense server. and make sure QVD folder path is accessible from the Qliksense server (You can take the help of IT).

I have done this in our environment too.

Doy have fix time to generate QVD or it based on any trigger?

We want to run them on schedule mode

In this case, you can easily consume the Qlikview QVD in Qliksense.

You need to create a Folder connection in Qliksense for the path where QVD's are generated every day by Qlikview.

You and can use the same connection in the Qlik sense application, and schedule the task to reload the license application.
