Data Matching and Mastering

Hello!

We load data from many different sources.  Has anyone ever used Qlik to match and group duplicate customer records across source systems?  For example, if one source says Walmart Co., and another Walmart Corp., and another Walmart Corporation LLC,......is there a means to tie them all together as "Walmart"?  We have hundreds of thousands of customer records, so manual matching won't do, and I doubt we will be investing in MDM systems anytime soon.

Thanks in advance!!

Hi @jdean1012

You can create mapping table for below

Walmart Co., Walmart Corp., and Walmart Corporation LLC

or

you can use subfield(fieldname',' ',1) as Client. But make sure , all client name has correct values for first spaces segregation itself.

Thanks & Regards, Mayil Vahanan R
