Date filter from Selected date to current date

Hi,

Can you anyone help me on below scenario.

A table has 2 dimension fields. Date and Desc. 

I need to put date field as a filter .I wanted to displays the records like , If I select any date , it should show till to date.

Example : If i select 10-Mar-2020 , i wanted to see the results till 18-Mar-2021(today) in the table box

How can i achieve this without measure field?

     You can search something like below on your filter

>=10/03/2020

I have tried this method. It is not working when i search. ("No matches found). 

Date(SampleDate,"DD-MMM-YYYY")- This is my date format.

Is there any data format for this search.
