Hello,
I have an image for a system that I want to display in Qlik Sense. The image will be stored in the app or content library.
When the user clicks on the image I would like to open the browser with a URL. Basically the image is an Icon for a content management system.
Is this possible in Qlik Sense or with an extension (Button would work well)
Thank You,
Michael
Currently it is not possible to click on the image and open url
Yes you can. Add a Text and image object.
Set the background as image in the property and select the image.
Add a measure to text object = 'link url' . Inside the object select the text and click on link icon and you can add the url you want to access. See the screenshot below.
Hello,
Yes that works but I would like to be able to click anywhere on the image to launch the URL.
Is this possible?
Thanks,
Michael

Could you tell me which one are you using? Thank you so much!
Hello,
May I know from you what is the name of the extension used that allows you to click on the image for the URL ?
Thank you,
Appreciated
I am using June 2020 Qlik Sense release. There is a button object available where you can assign an image to the background of the object. In the action you can use open URL to open website.
