Dynamic Snapshots

Hi, in Qlik Sense I have a sheet with a graph and two tables.

I wish to create a dynamic snapshot of the graph.  Therefore, when I change the graph, I wish the snapshot to automatically  update.

How would I do this?

Hi Mike - thanks for your question.

Snapshots, as you may know are for use with data stories, so they can placed on slides in the story for presentation. Snapshots do not automatically update in data stories as they capture that point in time. So it depends on how would you like to use the snapshot?

Now as an alternative, Qlik Sense  can monitor individual charts in the Hub, and those will update automatically and maintain a history of the previous metrics.

Also if you want these to update in data stories - you can embed a live sheet in a data story slide.

You can also grab sheets and charts and link to them out of the Qlik Sense environment and they will update automatically when the data is reload - here is an example: https://youtu.be/-ffCdjY-UiM  - you can do this with both charts and complete sheets.
