In an attempt to connect to our database instance using Qlik Sense Desktop, the following error was encountered.
The user's access credentials (hostname, port, service name, username and password) were verified as correct with the database, and correctly entered in the "Create a connection - Oracle" fields for Qlik Sense Desktop. Looks as if the error may be internal to the application. Is there any further remediation steps, or is this a known bug?
Qlik Sense Desktop version is 11.24.1
Which driver are you using?
ODBC, OLE DB or the Qlik ODBC Connector Package?

I am using the Oracle in OraClient12 ODBC connector.
I had researched this further with Oracle. A related issue documented suggests changing the password to upper case. This actually worked, but makes no sense to me or the DBA. The Oracle documentation is attached.
