Error in loading csv, excel file

I  am getting this error when I tried to import Excel file through Data manager. I tried changing the csv to xl files. Still getting the same error. The table has around 144 columns but I need only less columns. I even tried to import 2 columns. Still getting the same error. Help me out.

Just by looking at message it would be difficult to say what could be the reason. Will you be able to share your data file and application?
