Export to Excel wrong total

Hi experts

I need to download a QlikSense table into Excel.

The total of a key figure in Excel differs significantly from QS. Any ideas why? There is the same quanitity of rows.

Many thanks

Tom

Dear Rob

I have fixed the issue: Set the total of the measure from "Sum" to "None". Thereafter back to "Sum". Now QlikSense shows the right total compared with the Excel export.

Kind Regards

Tom

You mentioned "total" in your post. Do you mean when you total the rows in excel it produces a different total than shown on the total line in Qlik Sense?  If so, this can be expected.  Qlik Sense, by default, does not double count. For example,  let's say you have a total of 10 Orders distributed across 3 salesreps.  One of the sales is shared by two reps. Your chart may look like this:

Rep   Count(Order)
A        5
B.       4
C        2
Total  10

10 is the correct total. If you export the chart to excel and total the second column, you will get "11".

If desired, you can force the chart to show a sum of rows by setting the Total Mode in the chart properties.
